Through this 3 month startup experience, you will get to the opportunity to work on all of these activities to develop the startup founder in you
Online Application
This is the first step in the application process where you will tell us about yourself and your startup idea
*You will have to submit a CV/Resume and optionally a 3-minute video pitch of your startup or social entrepreneurial idea. The entrepreneurial idea can also be submitted via slides or be written out
Virtual Interview
This is the final stage in the application process where you will be interviewed by the startup or social enterprise.
*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for this stage via email, candidate can prepare by reading about the startup/social enterprise and the job description on the intern position
Getting Your Startup Ideas Right!
Join this session to hear from Arief Imran, Group Chief Executive Officer of SERV Technology on how you can come out with a great startup idea. You will also get the chance to get tips from MaGIC on how to refine your resume.
Perfecting Your Social Enterprise Idea!
In this session Redza Shahid, co-founder of Grub Cycle and programme coordinator for Buy for Impact Malaysia will share how you can come up with a great social enterprise idea. You will also get the chance to get tips from MaGIC on how to refine your resume.

These are the roles you can apply for, you will be given the specific internship position upon being shortlisted for the interview.
We are looking for interns who will be performing marketing, digital marketing, community outreach and public relations roles. Based on your skill and interest you will be assigned to the relevant company.

Am I Eligible for This Programme?
As long as you are a Malaysian who is registered or have recently graduated (less than 6 months) from a university and have an entrepreneurial idea you are eligible to join this programme.
The Ideas We're Looking for?
At the application stage we are open to all entrepreneurial ideas. What is important is that you are able to show how your entrepreneurial product/service solves a problem or need.
It will also be good for you to highlight whether your idea is a startup (technology & innovation driven) or a social enterprise (impact driven). Additionally, you can submit a group/shared idea.
Post Programme Options
Once you have completed Startup LEAP Internship there are various platforms available for you. For those who would like to pursue startup creation you may join other MaGIC bootcamps and establish yourself at our coworking space.
Additionally, if you meet the criteria of the startup or social enterprise you had interned for, there is a potential of being hired into the company. You can also sign up on MaGIC’s talentbank, a job search platform where other startups and social enterprises may hire you.
