Dato’ Abdul Rahman bin Dato’ Mohd. Hashim, graduated with a law degree from the University of Westminster London in 1982. He was then called to the English Bar of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn London, United Kingdom in 1983 and was accepted as a member of the Malaysian Bar in 1984. He started his career as a Legal Officer with Petronas and subsequently practised as a Legal Assistant with a leading law firm in Kuala Lumpur for several years before setting up his own practice in September 1988 todate.
Apart from sitting on the board of several private companies, Dato’ Abdul Rahman also previously sat on the boards of several public companies listed on Bursa Malaysia (the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange) over the past 20 years in various capacities including that of Chairman, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and Independent Non-Executive Director.
Amiruddin Abdul Shukor is a mission-driven specialist who has kept MaGIC’s fiscal climate robust and healthy since he joined in 2015 as Vice President of Finance & Corporate Services. As one of the pioneering employees, he is known for his strong position on governance and compliance to policies aligned to government directives.
Amiruddin’s dedication resulted in a promotion to Senior Vice President of Finance & Corporate Services in 2020. He was previously appointed Acting CEO of MaGIC from December 2018 to April 2019.
Amiruddin is a Chartered Accountant and a certified member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He has an MBA in Applied Finance & Investment from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Amiruddin sits on the National Sports Institute board and is a member of the Audit Committee for Pelaburan Mara Berhad.
