Tegas-incubated fashion startup picked for MaGIC's GAP

KUCHING: Menur, a fashion company under Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas) incubation, is the only Sarawak-based startup selected for the Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC)'s 'Global Accelerator Programme' (GAP) in Cyberjaya this month.For its second batch of participants this year, the GAP will help equip selected global startups with the necessary skills, knowledge and network to break into Asean, and become investment-ready in four months.The programme provides four months of mentoring, direct access to route-to-market partners such as Google, Malaysia Airlines Bhd, Maxis, Maybank and Media Prima, accommodation and flight reimbursements, marketing allowance and monthly stipend, six-month professional visitor's pass, as well as benefits worth over US$500,000 from Amazon Web Services, 123RF, Canva, GRAB and ipay88.Last year, the GAP was ranked as among the top 10 most active accelerators in the world.
