Executive, NTIS (2 positions)

The Executive reports to the Senior Vice President, Technology & Innovation and is responsible to support the operations of the National Technology Innovation Sandbox (NTIS). The NTIS is an initiative by The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) aimed to accelerate the commercialisation and adoption of innovative products and solutions. MaGIC has been appointed by MOSTI as the Lead Secretariat for NTIS and the NTIS Secretariat comprises of TPM, MIMOS and Futurise.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution with at least 1 year’s working experience in the relevant field;
Has experience and a keen interest in working with processes and data;
Has high focus and attention to details;
Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude;
Has a keen eye in identifying new tools and technologies to enhance work processes and efficiency in addition to the required fundamental skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Proactive, outcome-driven and keen to contribute ideas and solutions for arising issues and challenges;
Able to work with minimum supervision and takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects;
Respectful, kind and enjoys making life better for stakeholders and team members of all levels;
Flair for creative writing, presentation and social media skills would be added value.

Responsibilities

To support in the administration and coordination of daily key activities of NTIS for optimal output and outcome based on the performance metrics set;
To support end-to-end NTIS operation, from application to approval stage;
To support coordination activities with other NTIS Secretariat members, agencies of MOSTI, related Ministries and Agencies in rolling out NTIS objectives;
To support in the implementation of right processes, project governance and adopt best practices to deliver operational excellence;
To support in maintaining good documentation and records via the use of appropriate digital tools and resources
To support in managing the unit’s financial records and tracking of the unit’s budget and its utilisation;
To support in managing the programmes’ data, provides project and operational status reports;
To support in building the SOP for the NTIS unit to ensure that activities are executed in compliance with MaGIC governance and guidelines.
