Solution Seeker

One of the key roles in the new National Technology and Innovation Sandbox (NTIS), an important initiative by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), with MaGIC as the Lead Secretariat and supported by other agencies.

The primary role is to support the Assistant Manager and NTIS Director in the areas of developing and managing relationships with corporate partners and other strategic stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • 1 - 3 years of working experience.
  • Experience in business development and account management.
  • Customer & client focus.
  • Good communication skill both verbal and written.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, 
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty well.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other related IT tools.

Responsibilities

Create awareness of NTIS to the corporate and strategic stakeholders

• Assist to actively engage stakeholders to increase awareness of NTIS and its benefit.


Formulate strategic partnership engagement strategies

• Assist to formulate strategic partnership engagement strategies aligned with the direction of NTIS, such as developing the strategic partnership plan in various sectors.

A focal point for private sector engagements

• Be the focal point for all private sector strategic engagements.

Establish New Relationships with potential stakeholders

• Assist to establish new relationships. Responsible for securing relations and partnerships with potential stakeholders; including securing appointments, developing proposals, making presentations, negotiations and recommendations to the respective stakeholders and parties.


Maintain existing relationships with private sector stakeholders

• Assist to manage strategic partner’s satisfaction, including developing and implementing strategies to promptly address issues and concerns identified throughout the partnership.


Other responsibilities:

  • Assist other NTIS team members when needed.
  • Other duties instructed by the management team and supervisor.
