Social Enterprise Accreditation Guideline Launch by MED

Ministry of Entrepreneur Development (MED) plays a big role in the development of businesses and SMEs in Malaysia including Social Entrepreneurship. MED is intensifying efforts to develop policies and guidelines including the process of registering, accrediting, developing and supervising social enterprises in line with the country's economic development and progress.The Social Enterprise Accreditation (SEA) Guideline was developed as a mechanism to certify the status of social enterprises in Malaysia to help them get the feasibility of incentive for tax deductions and access to various forms of assistance and support to develop trade.
