Taking place from 6 – 12 July 2019, the 3rd edition of Rainforest Fringe Festival (RFF), will showcase the very best of Sarawak’s music, art, craft, film, photography, food, and culture/heritage. Moving forward, RFF aims to grow the festival into an international event, by making the connections of Sarawak’s culture, heritage and history to the rest of the world, through some of its programmes.RFF 2019 targets a total audience of 45,000, a 15% growth from 2018. As with the previous years, it is expected that more than 80% of the festival goers will be between the ages of 20 to 49, coming from Kuching City itself. Up to 10% of the attendees will come from the rest of Malaysia (mainly KL), neighbouring Singapore and the Southeast Asian cities. Group tourists by interest groups (such as history, nature, adventure) will also be the festival’s target audience.
