MaGIC x UNDP Malaysia High-Level Policy Dialogue

In conjunction with MaGIC's Social Impact Challenge Accelerator (SICA) Venture Showcase Day, MaGIC and UNDP Malaysia are organising a policy dialogue on the topic of "Strengthening Impact Ecosystem in Malaysia and Beyond to address SDGs".

The dialogue will seek to uncover issues and opportunities to build a mature and organised impact ecosystem, following (but not limited to) the following areas:

(1) unpacking existing and potential targeted, high-value and e.g. access to tools, advisory, incentives, network, capital, and innovation;

(2) identify existing leverage points from Enterprise and Finance eco-systems in order to inculcate impact mindsets and practices in measuring SDG achievements;

(3) demonstrate why an impact ecosystem is important and the nexus between conduct, value, and long-term outcomes and the system’s direct implications for the business sector, the government, and the people;

(4) identify ways to encourage programmes and strategies directly supporting impact ventures, inclusive businesses and social enterprises.
