[MaGIC Webinar] Mobile App Development: Introduction to Flutter

In light of the ongoing Movement Control Order (MCO) and MaGIC’s recent survey having conclusive data that only 2.9% of start-ups are confident in surviving through MCO – MaGIC will be bringing you its Webinar series, a platform for online live sessions with industry experts and entrepreneurs to shed light on the various ways to strategise and thrive in a time of crisis, such as the one brought about by the COVID-19.

Each topic in the series will dive into the different areas of business and offer tools and insights for business sustainability, followed by a Q&A session. We at MaGIC will strive to provide a platform of support for our entrepreneurs as best we can.

Our next speaker will be Wan Muzaffar. He has been working in the mobile app industry since 2011. Starting during the boom of smart devices in 2011 as a Mobile Application intern in Atos Worldline, Seclin France, he developed an e-commerce application, “Personal Shopper”, a retail iOS application that was presented during the Paris E-commerce exhibition.

Coming back to Malaysia, he started working on Astro On-The-Go mobile app project prior to the launch of the product, as a Product Analyst, handling different parts of software development life-cycle. The product was on top of the App Store and Google Play for a while and has been downloaded for more than 100 000 users. He has experience managing the company’s Apple and Google Play accounts, liaising with them directly especially in regards to app requirement and submission.

He also has experience working with Room Service as a Mobile Product Manager, planning the mobile product roadmap for the Android and iOS applications. Within 6 months in the company, he managed to increase the mobile order market share from 13% to 35%. Some of the improvement features planned for the application is Geolocation detection, credit card scanner, Order Status feature and Google Analytics tagging.

Wan Muzaffar joined Me-Tech Solution Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya as a Technical Development Manager, in charge of planning and architecting mobile and web solutions for the clients. The company’s biggest client is Firefly Airline, in which he successfully architected the migration of the company’s mobile app and website.
