What are business projections and why is it important? Building a solid business projection can be one of the most important things you can do for your business. This strategic planning helps you establish regular monitoring which allows you to keep track of the current course of your business and guide you in mapping out the future of your business.
In this third instalment of Ask the VC, Global Market Fit Programme (GMP) alumnus, RentGuard, will be joining us to provide a live case study on how to build a solid set of projections, specifically for businesses that do not have the sophisticated finance team of an MNC. This session will cover Business Projections step by step, from setting strategic goals to estimating the needed costs and revenue.

Kevin Brockland
Kevin has spent most of his career in Investment Management collectively overseeing more than USD 500 million in Assets Under Management. He has broad experience working in global roles and regional roles, most recently he has been based in Malaysia for the last five years overseeing the Asia operations for a global fund manager. He has been involved in hundreds of transactions spanning 20+ countries and has helped many of them to scale internationally. In 2021, he launched a new fund, Indelible Ventures. Indelible Ventures is a Seed Stage Venture Fund focused on Malaysia targeting tech-enabled B2B products that can scale internationally.
