Farhan is a Digital Ecosystem Enabler & Startup Evangelist with management consulting experience in delivering Digital Transformation projects across various industries. With his technical and entrepreneurship background, he advises startup companies in business strategy, market insights, funding, corporate collaboration & government relations. At IIB Ventures, he is currently building the Iskandar Innovation Hub ecosystem and championing the Drones & Robotics Zone (DRZ) Iskandar Initiative. The DRZ Iskandar initiative aims to catalyze the growth of Drones and Robotics companies, accelerating IR4.0 technology adoption to realize the USD 300mil drone economy value and provide high value job opportunities and bringing socio-economic benefit to the nation.
Richard Ker is the Vice President of Partnership and Ecosystem at Aerodyne Group, the second-ranked drone-based solutions provider in the world with a presence in 35 countries. He is a TEDx Innovation and keynote speaker who is highly immersed in the global startup and innovation ecosystem. He was previously attached to Cyberview, where he spearheaded Cyberjaya’s Living Lab and Smart City programs. He was also with the Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC) where he set up the ASEAN Centre of Entrepreneurship (ACE). Richard lived and worked in the tech industry for more than 10 years in Beijing before relocating back to Malaysia.
Syafiq is the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Drone IoT Technologies and currently leading Asia Drone to spearhead talent development in drone technology in Malaysia. Together with his team, Asia Drone has completed over 35 training programmes with government agencies, corporates and the general public, catering to a diverse group of people from different backgrounds. He is one of the executive committee members of the Malaysia Internet-of-Things Association (MyIoTA) and is involved in multiple initiatives such as Malaysia Drone Taskforce, 5G National Taskforce, Bengkel Rancangan Malaysia ke-12 and Primary Syndication Workshop for National Tech Talent Development Policy.
Muslim is a Chief Executive Officer and senior drone pilot in Aeronerve with 7 years of working experience in Unmanned System Technology(UST), security, GIS and aerial surveying & mapping. He also has served as Director of Drone Security and Forensic (DSF), a service product for drone security, defence and forensic. Muslim is a Remote Pilot License (RePL) and Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) holder by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Australia. He has been appointed as drone technology consultant for private, state and federal government agencies. Muslim and his team has developed a Smart Construction Monitoring Solution (TERRABINA) which integrate and visualize drone aerial data and IoT sensor (on-ground) data in a single platform to embrace Construction/Mining 4.0. Muslim is a certified HRDF trainer and as for today he already trained about 1300 participants from individuals, professionals, private bodies and government agencies such as Drone Proficiency and Data Acquisition Training for Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Unit, MINDEF He have create impactful product and training program especially for drone technology application in various fields especially in mining, construction and agriculture.
