ALT.Labs 4 - Introduction to Data Science: The current Tools and Techniques to Deploy

Event descriptionThe ALT.Labs series aim to give participants of the community a detailed hands-on expertise on the latest technologies in the current Industrial revolution ranging from IoT, Cloud Computing, Robotics, AI & Big (Extreme) Data, and Cyber Security. In this series, as a continuation to the data science portion, the trainer/speaker will revisit what data science is all about and also go through the current tools and techniques in the market to actually build and deploy a data science project.Like most courses in the market now mainly focus on the coding language to use and particular algorithms, this talk is formulated in a way to focus on the necessary information for someone who either wants to get started in data science, improve a data science project or deploy a data science project. This is not an average data science course that you can get on the internet. We will want this to be as interactive as possible with lots of Questions and Answers. The instructors are well experienced in this field and will narrow down the right tools to prepare if you or your company are serious in a data science end to end project. This is an introductory and interactive session, hence no coding experience is necessary. Although the course caters for anyone interested in data science, the information from this talk will be more beneficial to the upper and senior management who will be responsible in decision making for an end-end data science project.Key takeaways1. What are data science and the current tools and techniques in the market2. Interactive session with the instructorsPre-requisites: None. Just be curious and have a lot of questions to ask.AgendaTimeActivity8:30 AMRegistration9:00 AMSharing Session by Speakers11:40 AMQ&A12:00 PMEnd (Lunch/ Refreshments not provided)Who Should Attend Startups Data Science developers Artificial Intelligence developers Machine learning developers Innovators Problem Solvers Students
