These bootcamps are designed based on government initiatives according to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and National Technology and Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) focused areas that coincide with addressing national and global issues.

Due to the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bootcamp programmes will take place virtually unless stated otherwise. Rest assured, your safety is our utmost priority.
TRL is a method for estimating the maturity of technologies during the acquisition phase of a programme developed by NASA. It is divided into 9 levels as below:
TRL 1 - Ideation : Basic principles are observed and reported
TRL 2 - Innovation begins : Basic principles observed so practical applications can be formulated
TRL 3 - Proof of concept : Analytical and laboratory studies are required to see if the technology is viable
TRL 4 - Component test : Laboratory testing of the prototype component
TRL 5 - Prototype construction : Laboratory testing of the integrated system
TRL 6 - Alpha testing : Prototype system demonstrated in an operational environment
TRL 7 - Beta testing : Completed design tested in real environment
TRL 8 - Certification : Proven to work under its expected conditions and certified to be used
TRL 9 - System proven to successfully function : Ready for commercial deployment
Food and accommodation will be provided if the bootcamp programme is conducted physically.
Costs for this will not be reimbursed.
In the case that the programme is conducted on-site, please bring comfortable clothing for the Bootcamp days. This means casual clothes are acceptable, but please do dress respectfully with others.

This is part of our effort to provide continuous support to grow startups under our program according to our learning path. The bootcamps are a funnel towards later stage MaGIC programmes such as Global Accelerator Programme (GAP), National Technology and Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) and more.
If you are not registered yet, you can do it once you are selected upon the bootcamp commencement. If your company is registered, you will be able to use the benefits such as legal services, cloud services etc from our partners.
You will meet them and connect with them on the first day of the programme.
We will include the pre-work together with the onboarding deck which will be sent to the participants a week prior to bootcamp commencement.
In the case that the programme is conducted on-site, session commences about 8:30 am and ends around 6:00 pm. Exceptions are applied – the daily schedule will be shared before the start of the bootcamp. Please bear in mind that team exercises and preparation is needed before each day. There will be time between 6:30 pm and 10 pm to do this.
In the case that the programme is conducted virtually, sessions will commence at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with breaks in between. Rest assured that we understand the fatigue when you are in virtual mode, hence the sessions will be crafted to suit the virtual settings. The schedule will be flexible so that you and the trainers can discuss to adjust to having more impactful learning and conversation.
Our coaches and mentors are global industry experts. Speakers are with deep expertise in their particular subject and/or successful entrepreneurs sharing their experiences. The list of coaches, mentors, and speakers will be updated in our onboarding deck to the participants

It is discouraged for you to apply for various bootcamp programmes simultaneously as we would like to give other startups/enterprises a fair chance to be part of the programme as well.
It is a 2-week programme followed by 1-month mentoring.

We are looking for a strong desire to learn innovation and entrepreneurship. This can be evidenced in several ways – by proposing a problem statement or an idea you want to work on, by coming together as a team of individuals with complementary skills in business, marketing, and design, and by submitting a video telling us what you want to get out of this bootcamp.
You can, as long as you have a valid work permit or student pass with at least 6 months still remaining on the permit. We do not support visa applications for foreigners.

Individuals from backgrounds such as business owners, working professionals, freelancers, researchers, students pursuing tertiary education and others with a strong desire to build a company/social enterprise with an idea/solution at hand are welcome to apply.

Topics that will be conducted in this particular bootcamp programme includes Idea validation and Reiteration, Business model refinement, Stakeholder mapping, identify customers, Build prototype/MVP, IP & Commercialisation, Pitch craft: Curate Deck & Presentation, Introduction, understanding concepts and best practises on tech, marketing & sales, people management, operation & finance, brand & communication, social innovation and UI/UX and Sharing sessions

Yes, you are able to apply for the programme. However, it is highly encouraged for you to register as an entity and have at least a team of two to acquire the Benefits Package.
No, it is not a requirement nor is it compulsory to own any type of drones in order to apply for the programme.
No, you are not required to have prior experience piloting drones. It is however advisable for you to have the basic understanding of the workings of a drone in order to have a clearer and more conducive application and learning experience when you join the programme.
Deep tech is that set of cutting-edge and disruptive technologies based on scientific discoveries, engineering, mathematics, physics and medicine.
Industries that are applying the use of Deep Tech include life science, computing, food and agri-tech, aerospace, energy and clean-tech, industrial technologies, telecom, new materials, etc.
Key areas in deep tech that this bootcamp is focusing on are Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, Quantum, Advanced materials, biotechnology, Blockhain, etc.

Yes. Innovation is an integral part of MaGIC’s approach towards providing a platform that pushes for sustainable transformation towards our agriculture system. The content on the topics chosen will be circulated accordingly.

There are no prizes as this is guided learning to get you to launch your product/services.
No, it is entirely depending on you as we will only guide you.
We will initiate post-bootcamp workshops such as IP Commercialisation, Product Development, Early Investment, Legal 101, Operation Excellence and others which will be notified accordingly.
We will also select the best bootcamp startups to be part of Bootcamp Demo Day. We will inform the startups to submit a pitch deck for selection purposes. This will be updated accordingly as well.
